- 1.) Introduce yourself! What kind of art do you make?
- I make extremely self-indulgent anime art all because I watched Sailor Moon when I was a tiny child and fell in love with the cute and glamourous girls. I primarily draw digital art with an emphasis on OCs and character design. I'm drawn to cute, dark, and EGL aesthetics.
- 2.) How long have you been making art?
- Since elementary school.
- 3.) How many hours do you spend for each piece?
- It depends. I don't spend more than a few hours on a piece usually because I get sick of looking at the same thing.
- 4.) Do you prefer taking your time or do you like to quickly move on to the next thing?
- I'm impatient, I don't really like taking my time.
- 5.) When do you decide a piece is finished?
- When I am completely over it!!
- 6.) What part of the creation process do you enjoy the most?
- Drawing cute girls! I love drawing girls in things I wish I could wear. Frilly girls are the cutest.
- 7.) What part of the creation process do you dislike the most?
- Drawing men and/or lineart.
- 8.) Do you have a designated workstation or do you just work wherever?
- Before I got my ipad, I only drew in my room as I used a Wacom. Now that I have my ipad, I usually scribble while I'm at work (lol)
- 9.) Do you monetize you work or is it purely a hobby?
- Hobby. I used to do commissions and sell stickers and stuff but it made me hate drawing. I'll always be grateful for those who bought my art in the past, though! It helped pay the bills.
- 10.) Where do you share your work? On social media or a personal websites? Do you keep to yourself and close friends?
- On my website and Toyhouse. I don't upload to social media anymore.
- 11.) What's an aspect of your art you enjoy?
- I think I'm pretty good at designing cute girls.
- 12.) What are things you would like to improve on?
- MEN!!! And drawing cool compositions. I fear I mostly draw "cute person standing in a white void."
- 13.) Are you self-taught or had formal education?
- Self taught obviously.
- 14.) Do you research about old techniques or stick to newer ones?
- I don't research anything.
- 15.) What do you value more, experimentation or mastery?
- Neither...fun is the most important.
- 16.) Do you practice drawing from the wrist? What other art techniques to you practice?
- No I have bad form, habits, and techniques 10000%.
- 17.) How frequently do you do studies?
- Almost never.
- 18.) Do you understand color theory? How'd you learn or do you want to?
- I think so? I'm gonna be honest, when I draw, I go by vibes only. I am the least educated or trained "artist" out there lol.
- 19.) Favorite color(s)?
- Pink and black!
- 20.) Are there colors you avoid? Do you think ugly colors exists?
- Very bright primary colors or neons. I enjoy them in other people's art but I can never make them look good... I like pastels and desaturated tones when I draw.

- No!!! Good vibes here ONLY
- 22.) Do you like doing lineart? How do you go about it?
- I only like it when I'm drawing pixel art. I wing it, as usual.
- 23.) Do you have multiple unfinished projects? Will you ever get to finishing them?
- I only work on neverending, unfinished projects.
- 24.) How do you start a new piece? Do you have a plan or just figure it along the way?
- I hardly ever have a plan. That's why I'm not that keen on posting speedpaints. I'm all over the place!
- 25.) How do you handle art block?
- I partake in other hobbies like video games and reading.
- 26.) Do you listen to music or watch something while working?
- Yes, if I'm not listening to music, I have a youtube video essay on. I can't draw and watch TV shows or movies though, it's too distracting.
- 27.) When are you most motivated to create? In the morning or evening? Rainy or sunny?
- It's random really, but mostly during the day because at night I'm really tired.
- 28.) Are your sketchbooks messy or aesthetically pleasing?
- I don't keep a physical sketchbook (I probably should!) But the state of my digital art folders and files is very messy.
- 29.) Do you like showing sketchbooks to others?
- Never have.
- 30.) Do you have any art friends? IRL or online?
- Online! I don't ever talk about my art or anything IRL.
- 31.) Do you collaborate frequently with your friends? Is there something you'd like to work on together?
- No :( I used to have friends that I worked on closed species and prompts/challenges with, but honestly I've grown apart from them. I would love to create an OC couple with someone though. *eyes*
- 32.) Have you created art to gift to others? How do feel about parting away from your work?
- Yes! I draw for friends or I participate in secret santa and valentine's events, etc. I love gifting art but I do often worry if it's good enough.
- 33.) Have you drawn for someone else? Like commissions or requests? Did you enjoy it?
- Yes. I hate commission work. And requests even more. I had a commissioner that wanted updates like twice a day. Never again.

- 35.) Have you ever been injured making art?
- Yes, there was one year I participated in Art Fight, drew trades, and personal art. I drew so much, I gave myself an RSI.
- 36.) What's a medium of art you've wanted to try / currently attempting?
- I want to use the copic markers that have been sitting on my shelf but I am kind of intimidated.
- 37.) Do you prefer stylized or realistic art?
- Stylized 100%.
- 38.) Do you like hyper-realistic art?
- Yes and no. I find the technical skill impressive and honestly, amazing, BUT I think it's boring to look at.
- 39.) Do you like abstract art?
- Depends on the color palette but typically, no.
- 40.) How do you feel about fine art?
- Inspiring.
- 41.) How do you feel about outsider art? Do you think you fall in that category?
- I don't even know what "outside art" is.
- 42.) Do you follow art trends?
- No, I'm much too slow of an artist, firstly. I also have no interest in art trends beyond the occassional prompt list.
- 43.) Do you think your art is influenced by what's currently popular?
- Not really but who knows.
- 44.) Do you compare yourself with others? Does it affect you negatively?
- Absolutely! It doesn't affect me negatively, it's more like I find myself driven and inspired by my peers and their creativity, skill, and output.
- 45.) Your controversial art take?
- You will get better at art if you're having fun. Grinding fundementals and draw-a-box will stunt your creativity and compositions.
- 46.) Art related pet peeves?
- Community-wise: the nitpicking and eagerness to jump on hatetrains. Art-wise: designs that don't make sense (I am guilty of this) Also, breasts on non-mammalian furries LMAO

- Ayami Kojima, Thores Shibamoto, Takato Yamamoto, Macoto Takahashi, Amai Kira, Junko Mizuno, CLAMP, and Takeshi Obata. Bloodborne, Trinity Blood, Castlevania...

- MY FRIENDS DESERVE ALL THE LOVE!!
- 49.) Have you touched grass recently? Do you go out frequently or do you spend most of your time indoors?
- Despite going outside every day for dog walks, etc - I am a pasty crusty indoor creature.
- 50.) Do you create art daily?
- I try to! But my job keeps me from it sometimes because all of my brainpower gets used up in the office.
- 51.) Do you take breaks from creating? How frequently?
- As often as I need to!
- 52.) Do you set deadline for your work?
- No, unless it's a gift or an art trade.
- 53.) Do you archive your work? Do you keep old pieces?
- I do. I want to upload old art to my website but I'm lazy..
- 54.) Are you embarrassed of your old work? Or are you indifferent by it?
- I'm not embarrassed - at the time of creating it, I'm sure I was very proud! Why be embarassed, especially since I've improved?
- 55.) Do you seek out for criticism? How do you handle feedback?
- No I don't seek criticism often. If I do, it's usually about a character's design if I'm feeling unsure about it. I'm fine with feedback as long as I ask for it.
- 56.) Are you harsh on your own work? Or do you love your work despite all it's flaws?
- I'm somewhere in the middle I think.
- 57.) Do you get compliments frequently? How do feel about them?
- I mostly get compliments on my character designs and my pixel art! It makes me happy.
- 58.) How do feel about the rise of generative AI? Do you use it for getting ideas or references?
- I feel like it's not going anywhere. Ever. I don't use it myself, but I'm not rabidly angry over it. Maybe because I work with "normies" that use it all the time, but there's nothing you can do to stop it or stop people from using it, so I don't want to waste my precious time and energy being mad about something that's not going to change. Unpopular, I know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- 3D Models: Do whatchu want girl, I do not care. Tracing someone's art, not cool.

- 61.) Do you prefer making fanart or original content?
- Original content because if I can't capture a character's likeness 100% in a fanart, it makes me sour lol.
- 62.) Do you think original content is more creative than fanart?
- Not really. I've seen some stunning, bigbrained pieces of fanart and derivative, boring original works. It all depends on the artist!
- 63.) Do you strive for originality?
- Not really. I strive for what I think looks nice, cute or sounds cool. I only draw what I like which is not very original and I like to reuse motifs in my art so...
- 64.) Do you draw from imagination or heavily rely on references?
- Mostly from imagination nowadays. (Mostly because I'm not that serious about art LOL)
- 65.) Do you think using references is a crutch?
- No.
- 66.) Do you like to make mood boards or scroll through Pinterest?
- I enjoy making boards but I never go back to look at them. I have fun picking the pictures out, though.
- 67.) Does your work have a story behind them or do you just make things that you think look neat?
- Both! My Kemonomimi Host Club characters exist to look cute. A lot of my other characters have stories and universes.
- 68.) Do you think art should have a purpose?
- Not really. Have fun, git gud, whatever.
- 69.) Favorite aesthetic?
- EGL or Gothic Victorian.
- 70.) Do you have a muse or a theme you fall back to?
- My muse is Milky!! When in doubt, I draw her. Themes and motifs I use a lot in my art: roses, ornate frames, crosses, blood.
- 71.) If you could eat you art, what would it taste like?
- Sweet and sour candy.
- 72.) If your work suddenly became sentient, would it adore or hate you?
- I would like to think that my characters would love me as a whole, but to be honest, I like to torture 90% of them so they probably would hate me.

- Absolutely not.
- 74.) Is your art style consistent? Do you prefer making a wide variety of art?
- I think my themes/motifs/tastes are consistent but I don't think I have a consistent or recognizable style HOWEVER, that might just be my opinion lol because when I was posting to a somewhat anonymous niche art site, my friends immediately clocked it was me without me saying anything about joining lol.
- 75.) Do you revisit old concepts or sketches? Do you touch em up or leave them as is?
- I revisit them sometimes, if I do, I make it a point to "finish" them up.
- 76.) Do you believe in talent or is it all skill?
- Both.
- 77.) What's your favorite thing to draw / make? Do you prefer making living things or still life?

- MYSELF!!!! (and other cute girls ^_~)
- 79.) How do you feel about people taking inspiration from work? Do you think art style theft is real?
- It can be flattering. "Art style theft" is something I associate with Toyhouse and Twitter artists. I find people that yell about it annoying.
- 80.) Do you participate in art conventions? Do you sell your work or support everyone else?
- No. I don't go to conventions ever, but I do buy merch fron convention artists on their online shops.
- 81.) Are your art materials expensive? Do you hoard any tools?
- They can be! I do hoard a lot of traditional media even though I don't use it. *_*
- 82.) Do you organize your supplies and tools systematically?
- I've only organized my copics. I'm kind of a cluttered person.
- 83.) Do you clean up after a project? Or do you just leave everything lying around till you need the space?
- My bad habit is not putting things away.
- 84.) Do you have a ritual before you start creating? Do you have a drink or some snacks?
- Not really, as long as I'm comfy and warm, I'm good to go.
- 85.) How do feel about censorship in art? Where do you draw the line for inappropriate art?
- Don't like? Don't read. = basically my philosophy. There's plenty of stuff that grosses me out but I'm not going to tell someone what they can or can't draw. It's not my place to police morality.
- 86.) Do you censor your own art? Do you feel like you leave out details for it be socially accepted?
- Nope, I don't censor my art. I don't care if my art or writing is socially acceptable. I do what I want!
- 87.) Do you feel intimidated with starting a new projects?
- Not really because I don't finish anything anyways! :V
- 88.) Are you scared of your art regressing? Do you think it's even possible to get worse at art?
- I go through periods of where I get worse before I get better and vice versa. I think that you can regress if you don't draw regularly enough.
- 89.) Do you frequently make compromises for your work? Does your art come out the way you envision them?
- Yeah, I make compromises with my time and energy. A lot of the time I finish something simply because it's "good enough." Sometimes my art doesn't come out how I plan but that is a skill issue lol
- 90.) How well do you manage your mistakes? Do you stress about them?
- I only stress about it if I'm drawing for someone else.
- 91.) Do you make lists of things you'd like to make? Do you actual commit to them?
- I have a mental list and a written list. No, I don't commit!!!
- 92.) What is your ultimate goal of your work? Like, is to tell a story, connect with others, or just to enjoy the process?

- 93.) What's something you've recently worked on that you're really proud of?
- The layout art for kingdom! It's not quite done yet but I'm really happy with how it's looking.
- 94.) Do you have any dream projects? Have you started on them?
- I want to make an rpgmaker game one day. I've started sketches and designs of the main character but I'm kind of nervous by having to write a WHOLE game, so it's been on the backburner for years.
- 95.) Would you prefer unlimited money or unlimited time to make your projects?
- Time! There aren't enough hours in the day.
- 96.) Why do you create art?
- Because it's fun and I find fulfillment in drawing and writing about my lil anime barbies.
- 97.) Are you happy with what you create?
- For the most part, yes!
- 98.) Do you think everyone should make art?
- Yes. I geniunely feel like the world would be a better place if more people created vs consumed.
- 99.) What's advice you'd give to newer artist?
- Have fun, keep trying, comparison is the thief of joy.
