March Finds 2026
Whew! March was a super crazy busy month for me but luckily I still had the energy on the weekends to shop, hehe. I am SO thrilled because I picked up some items that haven been on my dreamie list for years. *_*
Starting off with some Lenox: I picked up my dream canister set. This is the Lenox Spice Garden 1990 Collection. I was able to grab the entire set! I've seen some resellers online sell these for up to $2,000USD o_o. I also picked up the Lenox Gold Club cachepot from 2002, and the Lenox "Tied With Love" teacup & saucer set!
Next, this beautiful cherished teddy! She made me think of my friend Arachne :o) Some other cutie trinkets like puppies with a present, and a carousel horse. Another Lenox goodie, a beautiful lamp...I know I banned myself from buying more lamps, but I couldn't help myself because she looks so good with the teacup set above and the Lenox hurricane candle holder I bought a bit ago.
Look at how precious these cows are! Of course I had to grab them, cows + pink bows = true lapin essence. I still haven't put these up in my room, but I'll do it soon! I picked up a Precious Moments wedding arch from 1986 (I'm going to make an acrylic standee of Milky and Diesel to stick under this) and another Cherished Teddy, Jilly from the 1995 Valentines theme.
A beautiful mirror featuring a cherub and a lounging lady! I've seen this particular mirror resell for up to $1,000 online (o_o) I'm lucky I grabbed it for a few bucks. It's not in mint condition, there are some scratches on the glass but I think it gives it character. I don't know where to put this yet but I'll figure out a space!
Some wall deco for the bedroom, a treasure chest box with a coat of arms design that will be used for our D&D dice, some cherub earrings and a beautiful cherub brooch! I can't wait to pick up a new Spring cardigan so I can use it.
I had some really good March finds! I hope April will be good, too!
February Finds 2026
Nothing too crazy this haul! I picked up a brass bucket that I'm planning to use for hydrangea bouquets in the spring when mine finally bloom again! Also a cache pot for whatever random plant I decide to buy. This was labelled as made in Italy. I was really charmed by the lattice design.
I also picked up a basket and a basket with a casserole dish. I'm going to use these for Dungeons and Dragons nights to hold fresh bread, and shepard's pie or maybe some kind of dip/spread for the bread. Maybe baked brie topped with raspberry preserves...
A beautiful cheese board! It's porcelain and has the prettiest floral/leaf pattern. I'm going to use this for game night as well. Two wide brass/copper planters for my dining room windowsill. Right now there's a fake plant in a plain planter. I can't wait to swap it out and attempt to grow some herbs again!!
Lastly, these cute painting magnets!! They are currently on my fridge. At the end of the month, we are heading to another city to watch a concert so I hope there's enough time for me to check out the thrift shops there. ^_^
January Finds 2026
Yay! My first thrift haul of the year. I'm still on the hunt for a spice rack for my Lenox Spice Village and some kind of decor for the kitchen, but in the meantime, here is what I picked up:
A cute carousel soap dispenser. It's ceramic and the pump is crooked but that's okay. This still had the Ross sales ticket on it lol.
I got lucky and found a nice batch of Cherished Teddies!
Bearemiah and Edie-Bear together at last.
My husband spotted this lovely mirror buried behind a bunch of random stuff. This is currently hanging in the master bedroom! It's quite wide.
Cherub ornaments for the Christmas tree next year and a Virgin Mary statuette. I'm unsure if I want to keep her or gift her to my mom.
Two country heart shelves, both made from wood. (Excuse the shoddy picture, I had to remove the bg ^^;) These were definitely bought on a whim...I don't have space for them right now but I'm thinking about using these to replace some floating acrylic shelves in my room. I'm not sure how much it would clash with my current white furniture though. A part of me wants to paint them but I also don't want to ruin them...
And lastly, a catch-and-release. I believe this is a Bradley Big Eye doll from the 70s, manufactured in Japan. I keep thinking about her so I might go back and buy her. I don't care much for the color of her dress but her face is way too cute...it's haunting me..
